What counts as “one product”
A product is one monitored firmware — one software bill of materials. Commercial variants sharing the same firmware count as a single product, however many references sit in your catalogue.
What it compares to
- In-house: two to four hours a week of a senior technical profile to track a single product's vulnerabilities, roughly €800 to €1,500 a month fully loaded — and monitoring never stops.
- Consulting: a compliance engagement runs into tens of thousands of euros, and then ends. Vulnerability monitoring is continuous work that no engagement covers for long.
- Doing nothing: the regulation provides for financial penalties (Art. 64), but the deadline that arrives soonest is commercial — your large customers will ask for the documentation before the authorities do.

Is there a commitment?
The diagnostic and the report commit you to nothing: the report is a one-off payment. Only monitoring is a subscription, cancellable, unless you choose the launch offer, which implies an annual commitment in exchange for the discount.
How are products within one range counted?
One product means one monitored firmware. If ten commercial references embed the same firmware, they count as a single billed product.
What happens if I add a product mid-month?
The subscription is prorated: you only pay for the fraction of the month concerned, and the new product enters the tiered grid immediately.
Is VAT added on top?
No. The publisher benefits from the French VAT exemption for small businesses (Article 293 B of the General Tax Code): no VAT is added, and the amount displayed is the amount invoiced. Should this regime change, customers would be informed before the instalment concerned.
